You may want to change the destination of a number we have previously overlaid. Reasons for this may be because the business has moved premises or because you want to stop calls to a certain destination.
This is the reason that a reference string is provided when creating an overlay. If you wish to refer to the same overlay you can do so by providing the same reference string.
Note, The reference string identifies a number within it's class. If you want to edit an existing overlay, you must provide the same class and reference string as when you first requested it. Although ADNOS supports using the same reference string for different overlays in different classes this is not recommend behaviour.
If we wish to move the overlay created in the previous example, we simply provide the same class and reference string, but a different destination number.
